Hon Eric Ripper AM
Eric Ripper provides a valuable insight into government, politics and public policy in Western Australia.
Eric had a long and distinguished career in the WA Parliament over 25 years as a member of the Australian Labor Party, including time as Deputy Premier; Treasurer; Minister for Energy; and Minister for State Development, as well as Leader of the Opposition.
From 2001 to 2008 Eric was Deputy Premier and Treasurer of WA, engaging in the reform of State taxes and government procurement, the implementation of competition policy; as well as overseeing the development and management of eight State budgets. Eric was also responsible for WA’s participation in recognising the native title rights of Aboriginal people.
As Energy Minister, he implemented a major electricity reform program, including a competitive electricity market, and in the State Development portfolio, Eric negotiated on large LNG and iron ore projects.
Eric was recognised in the 2017 Australia Day Honours as a Member of the Order of Australia, for his service to the people and Parliament of WA, particularly for his work on budgetary reform, native title policy and energy sector developments.
He is the deputy chair of the WA Mental Health Commission’s Mental Health Advisory Committee and is a non-executive director of the Fairbridge Festival. Eric regularly presents to the business and community sectors on WA and Australian public policy issues.

Jason Marocchi was appointed Managing Director of GRA Everingham in February 2016 after playing an integral role in the growth of the business since joining in 2008. He is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the firm.
Jason has advised clients across a range of industry sectors on policy and regulatory issues at a State and Federal level, working on numerous complex, controversial and high-profile matters.
He also provides specialist support to clients involved in government competitive processes, including procurement, major projects and outsourcing. Jason has advised several successful bids on some of Western Australia's biggest infrastructure projects and services contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason was a journalist, public relations consultant and senior political adviser. He worked as a senior media adviser for several State Liberal leaders in Western Australia and played key communications roles for the WA Liberal Party at several Federal and State elections.
Jason has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree from Curtin University in Perth. He is a board member of GRACosway, GRA Everingham's national partner, and the WA Sports Federation, the State's peak representative body for sport and recreation.

Director Amanda Reid joined GRA Everingham in 2009 with a strong background in government relations and communications having worked as a senior advisor in State Government, for national government relations firms, as well as in corporate public relations.
Amanda is highly experienced in shaping and delivering outcomes for clients by utilising all aspects of business acumen including commercial, regulatory, political and community. She has worked with clients across a large cross-section of industry sectors in procurement, infrastructure projects, delivery of government projects and services, business-to-business facilitation; and policy and regulatory changes.
She has previously advised WA Labor Premier Geoff Gallop, former Health Minister and Attorney General Jim McGinty, as well as senior Federal Labor politicians including Dr Carmen Lawrence. She was responsible for managing a strategic communications unit in the Gallop Labor Government.
With a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Journalism and Politics from Curtin University, Amanda has also completed the AICD Company Directors Course.
She is board secretary of GRA Everingham as well as a board member of GRACosway, GRA Everingham's national partner. Amanda is board chair of Cyril Jackson Senior Campus, an independent WA public school offering courses in Years 11 and 12 to 16 year-old and older students. She is also a non-executive director of we the people, an independent board advocating for the people of East Metropolitan Perth, through research and human connections.

Having worked as a Senior Adviser in the former Federal Labor Government's of Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd, Patrick Fagan brings significant political and strategic experience to the GRA Everingham team.
Patrick has provided advice to government across a number of key portfolios, including energy, resources, ICT, the public sector, electoral policy and Northern Australia and was an adviser to former Resources and Energy Minister Gary Gray AO.
Patrick has most recently worked as a government relations adviser to South32 and previously advised the Kimberley Development Commission on the Miriuwing Gajerrong Ord Enhancement Scheme. The scheme focussed on community development needs of the MG people in the areas of youth engagement, health, cultural preservation, education and housing. He was also a founding member of Timor Leste Vision, a NFP promoting rural education projects in Timor Leste.
Patrick holds a Master of Community Development from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in political science and history) from the University of WA.

Associate Elizabeth Nedela-Campbell brings strong political experience and understanding to GRA Everingham. Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth worked as a Political Advisor for the US Department of State serving in their Perth Consulate. She liaised with Washington DC and the US Embassy in Canberra providing advice on state and federal politics, defence issues, US-Australian relations and cultural nuances.
Elizabeth also has significant experience in Australian politics at both a WA and Federal level having previously worked for a number of Members of Parliament and a Federal Minister. She has strong experience in community engagement, event management, campaigning and fundraising.
Elizabeth has also spent time in the higher education sector working for three Western Australian universities where she developed a comprehensive understanding of the unique structure and needs of the Australian tertiary sector.
With a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Studies; Security, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism from Murdoch University, Elizabeth also has a Graduate Diploma in Education from Notre Dame.

Kareece has extensive senior experience working within professional service firms, providing high quality office management, client support and assistance to executive staff.
Prior to working with GRA Everingham, Kareece was an Executive Assistant to multiple senior partners at a global service firm, with a focus on several sectors including government. Kareece has studied European languages and administration.
